Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of AffProf ("Service"), operated by Carlos Sanchez operating as AffProf, based in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. • You must provide accurate information when registering. • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. • One person may not maintain multiple Free accounts.

2. Description of Service

AffProf provides link management tools including: • Short link generation and redirection • QR code generation and customization • Automated link health monitoring • Click analytics and reporting • Custom domain support (Pro plan)

3. Plans, Trials, and Billing

Free plan • No payment required. No credit card required. • Subject to feature and quantity limits described on the Pricing page. • We may modify Free plan limits with reasonable notice. Pro plan • Billed monthly or annually via Stripe. • A 14-day free trial is available. The trial requires a valid payment method, which you authorize us to charge automatically when the trial ends unless you cancel beforehand. • Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled. • You may cancel at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period; you keep Pro access until then. • We reserve the right to change pricing with at least 30 days notice to existing subscribers. Refund policy • We offer a full refund on your first paid charge if you request it within 7 days of that charge. Email hello@affprof.com to request your refund. • After this 7-day window, we do not offer refunds for partial billing periods.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to use the Service to: • Engage in illegal activity or violate any applicable law. • Redirect traffic to malicious, deceptive, fraudulent, or harmful content. • Distribute malware, viruses, or other harmful code. • Spam, abuse, or attempt to overload the redirect system. • Impersonate other brands, businesses, or people. • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to compromise the Service. • Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the Service without our written permission. • Scrape, crawl, or otherwise access the Service in an automated way that exceeds reasonable use. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with or without notice depending on severity.

5. Your Content

• You retain full ownership of all content you create on the Service, including links, products, tags, and uploaded assets. • You grant AffProf a limited, non-exclusive license to store, process, and display your content solely to provide the Service to you. • You are solely responsible for the content you create and the destinations you redirect traffic to.

6. AffProf's Intellectual Property

• AffProf, the AffProf logo, and the Service itself are the property of AffProf. • You may not copy, modify, or create derivative works of the Service.

7. Account Termination and Data Export

You may terminate your account at any time from your settings page. Before terminating, we recommend exporting your links via the CSV export feature. Upon termination by you: • Any active Stripe subscription is cancelled immediately. • Your data, links, click analytics, and uploaded brand assets are permanently deleted within 30 days. • Active short links stop redirecting. We may suspend or terminate your account if you: • Violate these Terms. • Engage in fraudulent or abusive activity. • Fail to pay subscription fees after reasonable notice.

8. Service Availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee 100% uptime. The Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that: • Link monitoring will detect every broken link instantly. • Click analytics will be 100% accurate. • The Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, AFFPROF AND ITS OPERATORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOST AFFILIATE COMMISSIONS, LOST REVENUE, OR LOST DATA. OUR TOTAL CUMULATIVE LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (B) USD $50.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold AffProf harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service in violation of these Terms or applicable law.

11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute shall be resolved in the courts located in Ontario, Canada.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. We will notify you by email at least 14 days before significant changes take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
